EXCELLENT Based on 8 reviews Posted on james nicollsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful tiny house by the river. The setting is incredibly peaceful and private, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The design is outstanding, with high-quality furnishings and thoughtful touches throughout that made the space feel both stylish and comfortable. Everything we could possibly need was provided, and the extra details and personal touches truly made it a special stay. This place is a true hidden gem, and we would absolutely return again.Posted on Jessica TamTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our stay at The Tiny Mile was absolutely unforgettable. From the stunning riverside location to the thoughtful little details throughout the home, everything felt perfectly considered. We visited over the Easter long weekend when many shops were closed and had no trouble at all cooking every meal in. The place was stocked with everything you could possibly need and more: an incredible selection of teas, coffee, hot chocolate with marshmallows, fresh bread, eggs… the list truly goes on. Shez’s hospitality was exceptional -warm, attentive, and responsive and the guide provided made settling in effortless. The highlight for us was definitely the hot tub. There’s nothing better than unwinding with a glass of wine while watching the sunset. We also loved the balance of modern design with rustic charm. The bedroom was cozy and inviting, and everything felt fresh, high-quality, and thoughtfully sourced. The mini market showcasing local businesses was such a lovely touch, too. This stay was exactly the escape we needed from the city, peaceful and secluded, yet still close to nearby towns and shops. It was the perfect base for our day trips, and we truly couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. We’ll absolutely be backPosted on Dillon McDougallTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This place is something really special. Tucked away and so peaceful, it gave us the chance to completely slow down and just enjoy each other’s company. Every little detail made it feel warm and welcoming. We arrived needing a break and left with full hearts. We’ll definitely be back.Posted on Tajo QuaifeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The Tiny Mile was nothing short of perfection, with every detail thought through. Incredible host and an incredible stay! Could not recommend more highly. Will be back again!!Posted on IsabelleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This is by far the best tiny home experience! Everything you need is provided! Beautiful view, peaceful surroundings, sauna, canoe, coffee machine, fire place (inside & outside), outside bath & shower as well as inside shower, great water pressure, proper toilet (not a composting one but one that actually flushes) A comfortable & sizeable bed!, we liked the cute collection of activities to play! So many things to do & such a great atmosphere. The hosts have done a fabulous job at making the space feel homely & Vibey! We love & appreciate how well thought out everything is, as it’s functional with a boujee rustic vibe, we enjoyed discovering all the little extras added in each room too, very nice touch! My partner & I very much appreciated the fact there were good quality cooking utensils provided with a gas cook top! The personalised welcome sign was a beautiful touch too. We will definitely be coming back to stay regularly! Thank you again! XoxoPosted on Natalie O'DonnellTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. AMAZING! The Tiny Mile has thought of just about everything. Couldn’t have been a more relaxing getaway. From the moment you drive up to the tiny home you feel welcomed. The outdoor bath/shower was sensational. Plenty of bubbles and bath salts supplied. The perfect spot to take in sunset. The sauna was relaxing and that’s all before you step inside. Inside was just more WOW. From tea/coffee blends available. Marshmallows for hot chocolates and the best melting moments. A fresh loaf of sourdough, small breakfast package and more. The linen is superb quality and the bed is unbelievably comfy add the projector screen for a cosy night in. There are plenty of games for inside or out. Aromatherapy oils and diffuser and a mini market if you wish to purchase extras to take home. A visit from a beautiful horse added to our trip. Close enough to town if you need anything and places to explore. We particularly enjoyed Saltwater lagoon for a swim nearby. The canoe provided some good laughs as we made our way both up and down stream. Stayed for 2 nights could easily spend longer. Thank you for sharing your little piece of luxury. Compact but an extremely comfortable, liveable, functional space. An incredibly well equipped kitchen complete with a "real" coffee machine so there's no need to even travel the 10 minutes down the road to the local shops. Generous breakfast supplies with an abundance of unexpectedly thoughtful goodies and extras in every corner. Think honey with honeycomb still in the jar, home-made jam pot in the fridge, real chocolate for fresh grating on your coffee if you wish. Beautiful and tasteful appointments in the way of crockery, cutlery, glassware and utensils. Delicious French flax bedlinens on the comfiest bed and luxuriously thick, fluffy bathtowels. Outside there's not a sound to disturb your peace but the birds and the occasional slap in the water when a fish jumps. Let the time drift away just watching the creek ripple in and out. Follow the ducks and venture off in the canoe if the idea appeals or take the lazy option (like me) and relax with a glass of wine in your deep stone bubble bath set into the deck while the sun goes down. If you fancy getting hot and sweaty then your own personal sauna is right there but if you prefer to be cool as a cucumber (again like me) your efficiently air-conditioned space is a few steps away. To top it all off, despite the secluded, rustic location, every technological gadget has been thought of. Cleverness is everywhere and while a box of multiple remote controls might seem scary, there are easy instructions readily at hand. Even a massive screen for those who can't do without their Netflix. A few steps across the property and you will be surprised to find the wide expanse of the Manning River south channel right in front of you. I seriously avoid reviewing gems like this because it only makes it harder to book next time! But....credit where credit is due!!Posted on victoria jonesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. From the moment I arrived at The Tiny Mile, I was blown away. The photos whilst stunning still cannot capture the amazing outlook over the meandering river, which is absolutely stunning and instantly makes you slow down. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, right down to the smallest touches. The space feels luxurious and serene, it really is the perfect place to truly unplug and unwind. The outdoor bath is so beautiful, and the sauna adds a sense of wellness that elevates the entire stay. With amazing styling and design, the tiny mile ticks all the boxes. Warm, intentional and impeccably done. I would not hesitate to return or to recommend The Tiny Mile to anyone looking for a truly special escape. Sherinah has created an unforgettable experience. Cannot wait to come back again!

The Tiny Mile FAQs
How private and safe is the property?
What’s Beyond the Mile is set on 100 peaceful acres, with a mile-long driveway leading you well away from the main road. As your hosts, we live on the far side of the property — completely out of view — but we’re only ever a phone call away if you need us. Many of our solo travellers find this balance of privacy and nearby support reassuring.
The Tiny Mile is tucked quietly along the creek, sheltered beneath a grand old fig tree. As a working farm on a shared river, you may occasionally spot a tractor passing by or a small boat drifting along the water.
With no other buildings or lights in sight, nights here are filled with the magic of clear, starry skies and the soft sound of local owls calling through the trees — a truly tranquil escape.
Can I hold a wedding or event on the property?
Whilst we don’t yet have capacity to hold large events on the property, we are open to small intimate gatherings and have the ability to put up a marquee on the property. Full transparency of event details must be communicated and agreed upon prior to booking.
Alternatively, we are also very accommodating to elopements and love helping our guests craft the most sentimental experiences that they’ll cherish for a lifetime.
